Hotel Gravensteen

There dosnt seem many recent reviews about this place and what there is is mostly bad, we like the look of this place and its central as well as a good price, anyone got any updates

if you do stay here go for the new rooms at the back not those overlooking the castle - they need attention.

much better to try their sister hotels ghent river or de flandre

Have just returned from Ghent last night after staying at Hotel Harmony which is in the centre overlooking the Canal and next to the Castle. We had rooms 41 and 40 which are the only two on the top floor which made it very private. Both rooms are the same The view from the window was really lovely across the city, staff are great and breakfast all that you could want. We had a luxury room which was very up to date with a jacuzzi. The cost was 160euro per night. After looking at many of the Hotels in Ghent including Hotel Gravensteen if I was going to Ghent again I would certainly book with Hotel Harmony.Hope this is of help

the harmony is a cut above and really family run by harmony, her sister and brother. one gets the hotel named after and another the bar...

the prices are also generally higher than the others in gent but as with most things you get what you pay for...

was the pool in use? that%26#39;s a nice touch in central gent. the novotel also has one
