Clinique St. Jean is on the Bd. du Jardin Botanique, just uphill from Place Rogier. Around Rogier you have the Sheraton, the Brussels City Hilton and the Crowne Plaza (formerly Palace) Hotel, the last-named being the closest to the hospital, also the Comfort Art Hotel Siru which might be cheaper than those 3. Not far away (same block as the Sheraton) you have the Thon Hotel Brussels City Centre, and in the same street as the Siru (which is on the corner of rue du Progrès and rue des Croisades, the street by the Sheraton), the Hotel des Colonies, www.hotel-des-colonies.com.

The nearest railway station is the Gare du Nord, one tram stop from Rogier or about 10 minutes%26#39; walk. The closest decent hotel to the station is probably the Progrès, www.progresshotel.be, about halfway between the station and Place Rogier, also in rue du Progrès is the New Galaxy, www.newgalaxy.be.

Sorry I assumed that since you were in the Brussels forum you must be referring to St. Jean/Sint Jan, but this is an Algemenze Kliniek (Clinique générale), not an AZ (Akademische Ziekenhuis). It seems to me you must be referring to the AZ-Sint Jan in BRUGGE (address: Spaanse Loskaai)!! So presumably the Campanile hotel you don%26#39;t want to stay at is the one in Brugge not the one near Brussels Airport.

I can only suggest you go to the Brugge forum and then look in the list (on the left) of %26quot;Brugge hotels%26quot; for one that is in the right price bracket. This one should be close by: www.bryghiahotel.be
