Brussels airport to central station and back

Hi there!

This may have been asked before, if so, please forgive the repetition :o)

Is it easier or cheaper to buy tickets online than at the airport station? I%26#39;m not quite sure sure what time I%26#39;ll be returning from Central Station; is it possible to buy an %26quot;open%26quot; return on the same day?

Thanks in advance!

1) Price is identical (€2.90 single so €5.80 both ways unless you are travelling on a Sat/Sunday when it%26#39;s €3.60 return). I don%26#39;t know what you find easier, personally I would buy it at the airport station on the day.

2) Local train tickets are like (city) bus tickets, you aren%26#39;t restricted to a specific train departure but can take any train (on the day in question or up to a month later - except of course for weekend tickets which are limited to use on Saturdays and Sundays). So if you buy your ticket from BRU to Central and from Central to BRU, whether on the day or in advance, you use it on whichever train you like (from/to the same places of course) for a certain period of time from the date of purchase.

Thank you very much, that%26#39;s exactly the info I needed! :o)
