Trip to Kasteel VanGaasbeek

Hi. I would like to thank everyone who helped my husband and I get to Kasteel VanGaasbeek. Your directions were very good, and it was something to see.

We took the train from Amsterdam to Brussels ( it was about 100 usd each) and then took the bus to Kasteel VanGaasbeek. In case anyone else is going, the bus tickets are round trip and you have to leave the train station to get the bus. There is transportation right next to the train station but you have to walk out of that to get the right bus. The bus will take you directly opposite to the Kasteel, there will be a restaurant Ode Gaasbeek on your right and you get off there. It is a bit of a walk to the Castle, but it was worth it. It was absolutely beautiful, so very well preserved, the grounds and architecture were stunning. There were original painting from the %26quot;Old masters%26quot;. It was one of the highlights of my trip. If you like castles, I would whole heartedly recommend it. We ate at Ode Gaasbeek and it was very good.

So, once again thank you. What (little) I saw of your country, it was beautiful and everyone was very friendly and helpful.
