10 trip train pass

Hi- I have hear that you have to fill out Train Passes a certain way. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to do this so there are no surprises. Also can a 10 Trip Rail Pass be used on different people for the same journey? Are these rail passes good on any train? Can they be bought at any station? We are thinking of picking them up when arriving at the Brussels airport for getting to Knokke. When switching trains in Brussels Midi and possibliy Brugge will we need to fill anything out on the pass or do anything different?

thanks

1) I don%26#39;t know, exactly but I imagine it is like the key card, a local season ticket for people doing the same journey on a regular basis. If so, you fill in the departure town, destination town, date and possibly time of departure (this one once you get on the train, for safety%26#39;s sake). It should be clear from the card but if not, ask the ticket clerk who sells it to you how to fill it in for your first trip.

2) Yes it can be used for as many people as you like as long as you fill in a trip for each of them.

3) Any train within Belgium, yes (not Eurostar or Thalys).

4) Yes they can be bought at any Belgian station so including the one at the airport.

5) No, as long as you are taking the next connecting train your trip is Brussels Airport to Knokke, it doesn%26#39;t matter that you have to change (incidentally if you have luggage it%26#39;s recommended to change at Bruxelles-Central rather than Nord or Midi - the Knokke train is also the Brugge train and rumour has it this leaves from the same platform at Central as the airport train arrives at).

Make sure to fill out the names of the two train stations (departure/arrival) in capitals.

Striking out names and trying again will not be accepted, so be very careful before you start writing.

And then a last small tip: if you use the figure 7 in a date, make sure no confusion with 1 is possible. Unlike Americans we always add a hyphon in the middle of the vertical line. A small detail that could save you quite some money.
