Please help

Hello ladies and gents could somebody help me please i plan to go to Liege and the best flight plan seems to be from Dublin-Belgium( im from up north) does anyone have any better sugestions or how long would it take to get from Brussels to liege by train? thanks.

Well yes, Liège is in Belgium so it would be a good idea to fly to Belgium (although the closest airport to Liège, apart from Liège itself of course, is Maastricht in the Netherlands)! I don%26#39;t know anything about flights from Liverpool but presumably you can check out Liverpool Airport%26#39;s website. Otherwise there are certainly flights from Manchester and Leeds/Bradford to Brussels Airport. From the station beneath Brussels airport (BRU in this timetable: http://bahn.hafas.de/bin/query.exe/en) to Liège-Guillemins by train takes a bit less than 1 1/2 hours, changing at either Bruxelles-Nord or Leuven.

If you are considering going to Dublin to fly with Ryanair, be advised that they do not use Brussels Airport (BRU) but Charleroi (CRL), even if they somewhat misleadingly call it Brussels South. From that airport, you can take a local bus (68 I think), which takes about 10 minutes to Charleroi-Sud railway station, and from there, every hour on the hour (on weekdays, I didn%26#39;t check weekends) you can catch a direct train to Liège which takes 1h13.

are you going to the everton game in liege? we are flying in from lpool via dublin on the pound flights with ryanair so probs see you. we havent any match tickets yet, you have any ideas???

Couldn%26#39;t be bothered with all the nonsense of going to Dublin so i fly from manny,also i may have a ticket( but even that%26#39;s not guaranteed yet) but no spares sorry lad but Nurmburg and Florence i was in the same boat but got in both grounds. The only way to find out about tickets is once your there,then you can go on missions looking for them but unless your going a day or two before hand you will have more of a battle trying to get any. That%26#39;s just me going on places I%26#39;ve been to and how its been for me.I%26#39;m there on Tuesday so i can at least mooch about for a day before more arrive that%26#39;s about all i can suggest really.
