Vegetarian Options in Nice Restaurant

There will be a big group of people going over to Bruges in November and one of our party is a vegetarian. Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant for our Saturday evening meal which can cater for 15 meat-eaters and 1 veggie?! THanks

i was hoping there would be more replies to this one! I%26#39;m veggie and am going to Bruges in about 3 weeks and would be keen to know as I find eating abroad very difficult.

resources that I find useful are:

veggieplaces.co.uk/vegetarian_restaurant_bru…

and

happycow.net/europe/belgium/brugge/index.html

although in the past I%26#39;ve found that these aren%26#39;t regularly updates and have gone to places only to find that they have shut down.

good luck and let me know if you find anywhere!

I%26#39;ve come back from Bruges and had no problem finding veggie dishes. I would recommend the following:

1. Tanuki.

Japanese Restaurant. Very good food for veggies and meat eaters. I could choose from veggie sushi, noodles etc. there%26#39;s more choice if your veggie friend eats fish and seafood (I don%26#39;t) such as tempura. Not on the menu was veggie teppan yaki which they whipped up for me. It was great! I was sat right in front of the hot plate and the teppan yaki chef explained all the things he was cooking for me and made sure all the hot plate/utensils were completely clear of meat products. It was lovely and my boyfriend (who%26#39;s a meat eater) enjoyed his meal too.

2. Tom%26#39;s Diner

I went here following recommedations on TA. Again meat and veggie dishes here. Lovely ambience-there was a mozerella filo parcel starter which was absolutely gorgeous! My boyfriend had the rib-eye steak which he said was the best steak he%26#39;s ever had. Staff are very obliging and offered to do dishes on the menu without the meat.

3. Hotel Erasmus

No veggie dishes on menu on first glance but I was staying there and mentioned that i was a veggie and they let me choose things from the light bites menu for an evening meal. Really understanding. Food is lovely and surroundings are very sophisticated yet minimialist and staff are really friendly. Great beer selection too!

I hope this helps.
