Bruges in December: attractions

Does anyone know if the river boats will still be running in December please? Can we still hire bikes? And can anyone recommend a carol service or anything christmassy between the 21st and the 24th? Thanks in advance

Bruges is a year round tourist destination so the things you mention above are all still available. I%26#39;ve never been to Bruges when the boats are not running!

Not sure about a carol service. As for anything else Christmassy, I am not a big fan of the Christmas market (which will be on in the Markt on the dates you mention) but the city itself at night with the lights etc is great. Also the ice skating rink on Markt makes for a Christmas feel as do the decor of the chocolate shops.
