In 1 1/2 days you can only visit Brussels, e.g. Grand%26#39; Place, Galeries St. Hubert. I would suggest you look at the %26quot;things to do%26quot; list on the left and at %26quot;traveler photos%26quot; to decide what you would like to photograph. Depending on exactly what sort of things you like to do, I%26#39;m not sure whether you would consider it worthwhile trekking out to, say, the Japanese Tower and Chinese Pavilion, or to the Atomium, which I like best at twilight when it%26#39;s lit up.

In addition to previous post, other suggestions:

Mannekin Pis (try seeing before 5pm as sometimes in adorable costume); Bourse; Rue Danseart for Brussels trendy fasion and Avenue Louise by Toison D%26#39;or for upscale fashion. MUST have a beer at Pannekenhouis (spelling?) by Mannekin Pis. Its a true Belgian bar with wide variety of beer. Try Cantillon, which is made traditionally in the very heart of Brussels. Note: it will taste like socks first, but the taste is well worth acquiring. In .5 days, you can make it by train to Brugge and back, which is also amazing for its charm, and yes, of course chocolate. Have fun!
