Me and my friend are going on a tour of France: Nice and Paris. We are landing in Brussels and want to see the place too. If we land in Brussels around 10 in the morning, what should we do?
Is one day enough to see the place? We plan to catch the easy jet flight to Nice in the evening at 7 PM.
If necessary we can stay one night as well.
If we can see most of the spots in the day, then we would like to catch the evening flight out the same day. If so, where can we park our bags while we go sight seeing?

If you are leaving on the same day, you can leave your bags at Brussels Airport: http://www.brusselsairport.be/en/

You can then take the train from below the airport into Brussels, to Gare centrale (2nd stop), which takes about 20 minutes. From there it is a 5-minute walk to the Grand%26#39; Place and Galeries St. Hubert - it is up to you of course to decide exactly what you want to see and do (see Things to Do list on the left).
There is a train back to the airport at 16:16 (on weekdays) which would get you there in time to collect your luggage before you continue your journey. Trains run roughly every 20 minutes.

Brussels is an important city, but unfortunatly much of it is uninteresting concrete. The Grand Place is lovely at night and there are good restaurants around for dinner, but you can see the highlights in the time you have on arrival day. As suggested, go to the Grand Place, have a walk around and visit the galleries. The famous little statue Mannekin Pis is a couple of blocks off Grand Place.

Hi,
So we take the train to Gare Centrale, go to the Grand Place.
Then should we take a hop on hop off tour?
What are the other buildings and places to see? We are not interested much in museums.
