Trip report

Was on a trip to Brussels and of course looked at trip advisor before I left. Stayed at the Marriott near the Grand Place. The hotel was great clean and the staff was friendly. I enjoyed seeing the local sights and had a nice lunch in a local place near the Marriott. Great location to see the city. I ate at the Scheltema and the food was great service was wonderful and my bill was perfect. It is just off rue Des Bouchers where I read many complaints..no problem at this place!

I did have lunch at Le Ruben%26#39;s Cafe near the Grand Place with a bad expereince. The food was good! When I wanted to pay my bill they told me no cash only. I told them that I only had credit cards and then was told that it would cost more to use it. I said ok. and then the brought the machine up and said it was cash only because it was broken. I told them I had no cash. Then they brought a machine that worked and it was the same price as my bill but I was told I needed to leave 10 euro for service. Crazy people..don%26#39;t go there!

Later on stopped by the Delerium for a beer was fun!
