Hello everyone,
Myself and a friend are planning a trip to the Christmas market this year - can anyone reccomend a hotel that is within close walking distance? We are not looking for anything fancy, just somewhere to lay our heads! The cheaper the better, but no where too rough!!
Also, as we are both vegetarians, can anyone advise of any good places to eat in the area?

Look for somewhere near Bourse or Ste. Catherine e.g. Welcome Hotel: part of the market is right outside it.
There%26#39;s a vegetarian restaurant, Den Teepot, in the rue des Chartreux which is off rue A. Orts, the street opposite the Bourse.

Staying within walking distance of Grand Place/Bourse would be ideal location. Try budget options like:

For food, you won%26#39;t need resto as you%26#39;ll eat at XMAS market. My favs are: gluewhin, red sausages, and the loads of different sweets and delicious chocolates, of course. Have fun!
