best route

hi if arriving into charlerio airport and staying at the dominican hotel would it be best to use the shuttle to midi or get the train from charlerio into brussels thanks

Note that Charleroi (Brussels South as they call them) is not connected to the rail network. That means that you need to take either a taxi fm the airport to the railway station and the rail to Brussels

However on the link of Charleroi airport you find detailed information:

It would probably be less trouble to take the shuttle from Charleroi Airport to Midi than to take the local bus to Charleroi-Sud railway station and then train to Midi, since on the one hand that would be one means of transport instead of 2 and on the other, I have heard complaints that these are not well orchestrated and bus arrives as train is leaving.

To get from Midi to the Dominican, if you don%26#39;t want to get a taxi then the easiest way (except on Sunday when the Monnaie Centre exit is closed) would be to arrive by metro at De Brouckère, exit into Place de la Monnaie and walk behind the opera house. To do that from Midi, take line 2 direction Simonis and change at Arts-Loi for line 1 direction Erasme/Roi Baudouin. If you don%26#39;t have much luggage you can also take an underground tram from Midi but if you do, it%26#39;s a hassle and you%26#39;d do better on the metro.

The Charleroi Airport shuttle arrives at the back of Gare du Midi next to the Air France office, you will need to go inside the station and walk all the way to the %26quot;front%26quot; following signs to the metro.
