Restaurants

We will be visiting Hasselt in October. What restaurants do you recommend, from casual places to ones suitable for a special dinner?

The only place I know in Hasselt is The Chess cafe, international/fusian/asian/wok-place which is very nice, but I%26#39;m biased because it%26#39;s run by a niece of mine.

Hasselt has innumerable good Restaurants. So it´s very easy to find a good one.

I can recommend the hotel restaurant of the Holiday-Inn. They serve very good food. In the evening there is a buffet with a lot of good items. Very tasteful and not to expensive (+- 22,-- €). They have even very good food at the bar restaurant.

In the evening there is happy hour. Buy one of those incredible beers and get one for free. They have always Leffe on draft and every month a %26quot;Beer of the month%26quot;.

My special recommendation to all Americans. Your country is big on many things. But Your beer is hell.

Come to Belgium and enjoy the best beer in the whole wide universe.
