My husband is making a business trip to Oevel (works for Praxair) and I was planning on coming along for the ride. Since he will be busy all day and I am anxious to explore I am looking for advice on the best way to get to places like Antwerp and Brussels. I have been searching train information and cannot find anything about a train from Antwerp to Oevel. Does one exist?

No, there is no train station in Oevel. Oevel is mostly an industrial area.
It%26#39;s not all that easy to get from the Praxair plant to, for example, the train station in Herentals from where you could then take a train to Antwerpen, Brussels, ...
The easiest possibility would be to take a taxi to the station in Herentals (which is the nearest %26#39;bigger%26#39; city) or drive up there if you have a car and leave the car at Herentals station. Then continue your journey on the train to wherever you want.
FYI Herentals - Antwerpen by train is about half an hour ; Herentals - Brussel Centraal by train is about one hour on the direct train.
