hi ....can you please let me know as to wt is the fastest n cheapest mode of transport from brussels to ghent..??? also let me know as to how to get to amsterdam directly from ghent..!!!

There are a large number of trains each day between Brussels and Ghent. For the first-time traveller to the area, the trains are the best option.

The same goes for Ghent to Amsterdam.

Go to the German Rail website ( www.bahn.de ) for an easy to use site that covers all of Europe for rail travel. There is an English language option.

Actually I don%26#39;t think there are any direct trains to Amsterdam from Ghent. You must switch trains in Antwerp central station. You can check the web site of the Belgian railways : www.b-rail.be/main/E/index.php It is in English.
