Dessert

Hi,

Is there a good dessert restaurant in Antwerp?

Many thanks,

I never heard of a dessert restaurant anywhere, although it sounds like a concept I would enjoy!

Could you mean something like a waffles and pancake (and icecream) place? If so, maybe Crèmerie Leon at Melkmarkt 29 would fit the bill.

Alternatively, vegetarian restaurants often do excellent desserts and this is particularly true of De Broers van Julienne, at Kasteelpleinstraat 45-47, near the old palace of justice on Britselei (cheesecake etc.).

%26#39;t Ogenblik, Grote Markt, one of the only good ones (certainly for sweets) on the over-touristy place.

Popoff, Oude Koornmarkt 18, although 20 years old still trendy. The desserts are displayed in the window. It%26#39;s like an old milkstore. But you can eat other things there as well.

And the Hilton (Groenplaats) or Horta café (near the %26quot;new%26quot; theatre for afternoon teas.

Horta Café doesn%26#39;t do the tearoom thing anymore. They changed to restaurant (and staff has become very unfriendly).

%26#39;t Suut Bekske in Hoogstraat

Wienercafé Leonardo in Hoogstraat

Crèmerie Van Dijck on Oude Koornmarkt

Tiramisu on Schuttershofstraat
