Breakfast on Sunday morning

Is anywhere open on Sunday morning for getting breakfast; just want a coffee and croissant.

Will be staying in Hotel Le Plaza on Boulevard Adolphe Max, but don%26#39;t want to pay 18 Euros for their breakfast. Hopefully no more than 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Thanks

look for the EXKI chain, have a nice place at Boulevard Anspach (close to %26#39;Brouckere%26#39; and less than 5 minutes from your hotel. They serve all day round healthy and good food, not only for breakfast.

Bon appetit !

Thanks for the info.

I would be very surprised if that Exki was open on a Sunday, the one near me (rue des Tongres) isn%26#39;t! What you want is the nearest Pain Quotidien, since these ARE open non Sundays. Unfortunately I don%26#39;t know of one nearer to your hotel than rue Dansaert (no. 16): you would have to walk - or take underground tram 2 stops from Rogier - down to the Bourse (stock exchange) and take the street immediately opposite, it%26#39;s a little way down on the left. Or, of course, you can get a croissant and coffee at any of the places in the Grand%26#39; Place or in the Galeries St. Hubert.

If you want to go a bit further, there%26#39;s also one in the Sablon where everything is open on Sundays because of the antiques market. Or you could take the metro from De Brouckère to Mérode, e.g. if you wanted to visit one of the Cinquantenaire museums afterwards, or go up to the top of the archway from the - free - Military Museum, and go to the PQ in the rue des Tongres.
