Flight from phx to brussels is alot less expensive than flight into amsterdam. I checked into Thayls train travel which is inexpensive. Can I get this train at the airport? Thanks for any feed back.

To pick up the Thalys you will have to take a train into Brussels Midi. The train nee reservations so book ahead also to get the best price. My advice would be to just pick up the normal international train which runs to Amsterdam evry hour (the Thalys is normally every 2 hours). You can catch this at Brussels North, Central and Midi stations (North being the closest to the airport) and no reservations are required, just buy a ticket at the aiport. This train only takes 10 minutes more than the Thalys anyway although they are supposed to be starting service on the new high speed link Brussels to Amsterdam next month. That has gone a bit quiet though.
