Cover Bruges in half a day?

We plan arrive Brussels from Paris mid Wed morning end of August, staying two nights, flying out on a Friday morning

Is it feasible to tour Brugges in half a day?

Is it better off to stay put in Brussels for two nights and just swing a side trip to Brugges?

The naughty question is: which half of the day? Which defines what you may see.

Generally speaking half day is enough.

It sounds like you will be spending most of your time in Paris. Since you are coming from a large city, and Brussels, in my opinion, does, is no way equal to Paris, I would take a city tour of Brussels the day of arrival. this will give you the highlights. Get out of the cities and see something totally different.

The next day, rail to Brugges. It is charming, beautiful, very different from your prior visits. The small canals, vine covered buildings and also one of the lace capitals of the world. Well worth your time!!!!!
