Brussels-Brugge

HI

I will be in Paris and I already bought a Thalys ticket for travel from Paris to Brussels.

Do somebody knows if with this ticket Im able to travel the same day to brugge?

You can certainly travel the same day to Brugge but not with your Thalys ticket to Brussels. Unlike Eurostar there is no %26quot;ABS%26quot; (Any Belgian Station) extension for Thalys.

However, as your Thalys ticket IS to Brussels you can at least use it to any other station in the same city, so you can travel one stop from Gare du Midi (only Brussels station served by Thalys) to Gare centrale for the Grand%26#39; Place.

From Gare du Midi is not possible to take a train to Brugge or I have to go to Gare centrale?

Yes of course you can go to straight to Brugge from Gare du Midi, I was simply saying that your Thalys ticket covers you to any other Brussels station but not any other Belgian station.

When you check the train timetable for convenient trains, just enter Bruxelles-Midi as departure station and Brugge (it will ask you to confirm as there is another station called Brugge St. Pieters) as destination station. Takes 1 hr on trains for which final destination is Oostende, Knokke or Blankenberge.

Trains from Bruxelles-Midi to Bruges run a few times per hour. It takes one hour.

It is a regional train, not possible (and no need) to reserve seats.
