Paris to Bruges and then Brussels or the other way round

Hi travellers,

I%26#39;m free from Tuesday evening 28th October in Paris, would like to visit Bruges and Brussels.. then I have a return ticket back to London on Sunday.

would you suggest that I should go to Bruges (Wd,Th),then Brussels (fr, sat) or the other way round? or maybe I should stay longer in one city.... or maybe I should visit a different city? or Bruges one day, Antwerpen one day, Brussels two day.

I%26#39;d really like to hear your opinion,

Thank you in advanced

Ewa,26

bruges is cheaper midweek nights and easier to find a bed - sun-thu

brussels is only well priced fri-sun

ghent is better value - try the marriott or ghent river or de flandre

For the reasons given in the previous post (Brussels hotels cheaper at weekends), it would be cheaper to go straight to Brugge, but you would have to go through Brussels anyway (unless you go a long way around, via Lille and Kortrijk) so you could also consider staying in Brussels and visiting other places by day trip (30 minutes to Ghent, 1 hour to Brugge, on the same line). It would be even better if you could swap your return Paris-London ticket for the Brussels-(Lille-)London Eurostar, to avoid having to go back to Paris just to get to London.
