Stay in Melsele or Antwerp??

Hello,

We will be attending a gymnastics competition in Melsele in late October and it is 16 km from Melsele to ANtwerp. We are concerned about the drive back and forth a few times/day and wonder if we should stay in Melsele and just visit Antwerp.

All suggestions are welcome including advise for a particular hotel.

As far as I know Hotel Beveren is the only hotel in the vicinity of Melsele. It is located in Beveren-Waas, 2 km from Melsele %26#39;centre%26#39;. It%26#39;s good hotel, and it%26#39;s an easy drive into the city of Antwerp.

If you intend to spend much time in Antwerp, it might be better to book a hotel in the city centre.

You can also stay at Euverbraeke. That%26#39;s a bed and breakfast close to the gym hall %26#39;t Wit Zand (if the competition is there).
