A sincere %26#39;thank you%26#39; to everyone who has provided advice on our trip to Bruge.
We have to pick up our tickets from St Pancras on the day of travel.....can I assume that we will have seats allocated on the outward and return journey to Brussels ? I know it might sound a silly question but we are %26#39;eurostar virgins%26#39;

Yes you will have seats allocated. I travel to Belgium every two weeks, picking up my tickets at the station the same as you. I can assure you will both have allocated seats.

What about Brussels to Bruges? Just first come first basis?
|||
Basically yes, there are no reservations possible but you should not have difficulty in getting a seat.

Thanks:)

4 of us travelled on a day trip to brugge from Brussels on a Saturday in January and had to stand for the entire length of the journey (55 Mins) but last June had no problems getting a seat.
The trains are basic but have lots of carriages with toilet facilities in every one.
Train times out of Brussles Midi can be found via the following website www.b-rail.be/main/E/
We adore Brugge and are off again in 3 weeks for the weekend. Enjoy

cliffb - you will have allocated numbered seats but make sure you are prepared to assert yourselves and if necessary chuck other people off them. Every time we%26#39;ve travelled on Eurostar other people have been sitting in our allocated seats - they%26#39;ve always got up and moved when we%26#39;ve pointed this out, but have sometimes seemed a bit reluctant.
