Train from Airport to Liege

Hello, I just booked a train ticket online from Brussels International Airport to Liege. When I made the booking, I had two train connections. When I received the confirmation email though, I had only one!

From BRUSSELS-MIDI to PARIS NORD on 27/11/2008 with Thalys

Train n° 9364 leaving at 21:43 and arriving at 23:05

1 passenger with fare Smoove ABS (BX) Comfort 2

Coach 5, seat 042 (Non smoking)

Does this ticket like include the fare from the airport to BRUSSELS-MIDI by default or something?

Thank you,

Sammy

Are you going to Liege, Belgium or Paris France?

From the Brussels airport to Liege... there are connectons that take about one hour and 15 minutes that require a change in Leuven.

Oh boy, I%26#39;m such an idiot! I meant to Paris, not to Liege.

Well, it is better to have made a mistake in your post than to have bought a ticket to Paris that you didn%26#39;t need. :)

I%26#39;ve heard of people buying tickets from Paris to Any Belgian Station (ABS). Perhaps the %26quot;ABS%26quot; on your ticket means from Any Belgian Station.

I%26#39;d post again, but correct the %26quot;Liege%26quot; mistake and ask about the %26quot;ABS%26quot; and the %26quot;Smoove%26quot;.

If you didn%26#39;t get the %26quot;airport to Brussels%26quot; on your e-ticket, the trip cost was under 3 euros for the journey when I did it last March.

Well actually I didn%26#39;t get a ticket at all, I%26#39;m supposed to collect the ticket when I%26#39;m at the airport. But in the %26quot;virtual%26quot; ticket, there was a line from the Airport to Brussels, yes. It%26#39;s cost was nothing. Would this probably be it?

Thank you,

Sammy

OK, when you collect the ticket at the airport, ask the person behind the counter if the trip from the airport to Midi is already covered.
