Visiting Belgium in December

harlo, i will be traveling to Belgium, Bruges and Brussels in specific this coming december. any advice on what to bring as winter wear?

will a dual layer jacket, cashmere thermal wear be enough? is umbrella essential? i was told that winter in europe is usually cold and wet with rain rather than snow.

The clothing level should be fine. An umbrella is always essential in Bruges, no matter what the season.
