Antwerp to Leuven

What is the best way to travel from Antwerp to Lueven? Do we need to travel to Brussels and Brussels to Lueven? My husband is a big Stella drinking and like to do beer tour. Is that possible as a day trip?

The best way to travel from Antwerp to Leuven is by train. On www.b-rail.be you can find more info on traveltimes. It takes about an hour to travel from Antwerp to Leuven.

There are some direct trains from Antwerpen-centraal to LEUVEN (if you don%26#39;t spell it correctly you won%26#39;t find it in a timetable!), which take 1h01; at other times you would go via Aarschot or Mechelen, rather than Brussels.
