My partner and I have just booked the flights and hotel for romantic weekend away in Bruges.
Unfortunately in the last week our personal circumstances and finances have taken a turn for the worse.
Not wanting to cancel, I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for eating, drinking, things to do etc and money saving advice do we can still have a lovely time but not worry about the money.
Thanks in advance

In my opinion walking around is the best thing to do in Brugge anyway, and it%26#39;s free. Entrance to most churches, including the Basilica of the Holy Blood, is free, as is this:

A lot of the restaurants have fixed price three course menus - even in the Markt there were 13 euros menus but you can eat well for less than 20 euros but beware of extras. Eating and /or drinking away from the main squares are slightly cheaper but generally food and drink can be expensive if you don%26#39;t take care.
Walking is easy and best way to see things (avoid the horse and carriages). You can hire bikes too fairly cheaply (10 euros per day) to see more of the outlying areas
Your hotel may be able to provide a discount card for the main atractions
