Hello Kaustav,

1) There is a very regular train connection between Brussels airport and Gent. On the 28th of August you could take the train that leaves at 4:26, 4:36 or 4:52 pm. Some of the trains go directly to Gent, on some you will have to change in Brussel Noord, but that is very easy. Everything is clearly indicated and you can always ask for help in the station.

The Brussels Airport railstation is in fact IN the airport building, and is also very clearly indicated. There are elevators that can bring you straight to the station.

2) You could try to buy your ticket online on this website: www.b-rail.be (also available in English), but it is just as easy to buy them at the railway station. When you have your ticket, you can choose which train you take. One ticket takes you to your destination, no matter whether you have to change trains during your trip or not.

3) By car it takes approximately one hour to get to Gent. Mind you: traffic can be very dense around Brussels when it%26#39;s rush hour (and it will be rush hour). As far as prices are concerned: do you mean a taxi (which will be very expensive) or a rental car? In that case you could check out the Avis or Hertz websites.

4) Take tram 1 from the Sint-Pietersstation in the direction of Wondelgem or Evergem. Get off at the Korenmarkt (10 minutes approximately). From there it is a 5 minutes walk to the Volderstraat. I advise you to look for Volderstraat in Gent on Google Maps. It is very easy to find: take the Veldstraat (which is the shopping street) and take the first street on your left: this is the Volderstraat.
