I will be in Ypres with a bus tour next week and was wondering if during some free time (as I have been to Ypres before) I would have time to visit the Bethlehem West Farm cemetery at Mesen where a relative is buried. Does anyone know how I would get there (taxi I expect which I would ask to wait for me), how much it might cost and how long it might take?

There is a De Lijn bus 742 from Ieper Station to Mesen but I don%26#39;t know whether there is a stop closer to the cemetery than Mesen Market Square (markt) about 1km away. It%26#39;s about 10 km from Ieper (www.wo1.be/eng/database/dbDetail.asp…), and according to www.taxi2station.be/station/592/Ieper/, a taxi should cost something like €35 single, €65 return (to use this yourself, pretend you want to go %26quot;home%26quot; to postcode 8957 which is Messines/Mesen). You can also contact one of these:
